Day 1: Johannesburg

Tour starts in the afternoon. You must either arrive a day earlier or in
the morning to be able to take part.
What the tour includes:
· The tour includes a panoramic view of
the city, a drive within the business district, visit to traditional African shops,
the bohemian Hillbrow and the cultural district of Johannesburg.
· From here you explore the Apartheid
Museum and the township of Soweto! A sprawling, self-sufficient home to
millions, Soweto grapples with democratic change, but its spirit resonates in a
plethora of shebeens.

The tour takes you past the
Barragwaneth Hospital, the biggest hospital in the Southern
Hemisphere, the Hector Pietersen Monument, the Regina Mundi Church, Kliptown and
· Vilakazi street, the only street in the
world where 2 Nobel Peace Prize winners used to live

Day 2: Johannesburg – Victoria
Falls, Zimbabwe

After breakfast you will be transferred back
to OR Tambo airport for your 1hr 45 min flight to Victoria Falls where you will
be met by your guide.
You have time to check into your hotel before
going on a sunset dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. The cruise
includes a set menu dinner and local drinks and takes around 3 hours.

Day 3: Victoria Falls
This morning you have the choice between:
- an Elephant Back Safari or Lion Walk (3-4 hours, incl. a light breakfast
- or a 12 minute Helicopter flight over the falls after breakfast at your hotel.

You will have to make your choice when making
your reservation.
In the afternoon your guide will fetch you for
your tour of one of the most magnificent sights in the world, the Victoria
Falls! The tour takes around 2 hours. While it is neither the highest nor the
widest waterfall in the world, it is classified as the largest, based on its
width of 1,708 metres and height of 108 metres, resulting in the world's
largest sheet of falling water. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Dinner is served at The Boma for an evening of
African entertainment and a taste of African cuisine in the form of a buffet.

Day 4: Victoria Falls to Johannesburg
Depending on your flight time back to
Johannesburg, you may have time for an optional activity this morning, such as
one of the activities you did not partake in yesterday.
Your flight from Victoria Falls should arrive
in the afternoon in Johannesburg and you will be met by one of our
representatives for your transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: Johannesburg – Greater Kruger Park

A short transfer back to the airport will get you onto your flight to the
Lowveld and yet another World Icon, the Greater Kruger National Park! The
transfer time from the airport to your luxury game lodge will depend on the
available lodge. You should be able to reach your lodge in time for lunch and
the afternoon game drive.
The luxury lodges in and around the Kruger National Park are world
renowned for their comfort, excellent service and exceptional game viewing!

Day 6 & 7 – Greater
Kruger Park
Two
days of pure safari bliss follow where you can forget about the outside world
and immerse yourself in unrivaled wildlife!

The
typical day at a luxury lodge usually starts with an early wake-up call for
tea/coffee and a light snack, followed by the morning game drive in a specially
adapted open 4x4 vehicle.
The drive generally takes around 3-4 hours and you
can expect to see an abundance of wildlife including plains game, predators,
loads of birds and so much more. After the drive you return to the lodge for a
scrumptious breakfast.
Some
lodges offer an optional bush walk after breakfast, which is usually included
in the price.
Lunch
is general served around 13h30-14h00, after which you have time for a short
siesta before afternoon tea and the afternoon game drive.
After
dinner, some lodges offer a night drive, while others extend their afternoon
drive to include time driving with spotlights to try to find nocturnal animals.
Some
lodges offer optional extra activities such as elephant interaction, a visit to
the local cheetah breeding projects, hot air balloon safaris or spa treatments.
Availability permitting, we can book with the lodge which provides the optional
extra activities you are interested in, so please make sure to mention these
during the booking process.

Day 8: Greater Kruger Park – Cape Town
After
one last breakfast in the bush you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga
Airport (Nelspruit) for your 2 hour 40 min flight directly to Cape Town, the
Mother City!

On
arrival you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to your
hotel. We make use of several hotels in the Cape and the most popular tends to
be the ones within easy walking distance of the V & A Waterfront. Again
your preferences and personal tastes can be catered for, so be sure to mention
these when making your booking.
One of the highlights of visiting South Africa is
undoubtedly going up Table Mountain! Since the weather on the mountain can
change at the drop of a hat, you should visit the mountain immediately on
arrival in Cape Town if it is open. Tickets for the cable way are not included
in the price, since we cannot guarantee that you will be able to go up. These
tickets can be bought at the ticketing office at the mountain and the hotel
concierge can arrange a cab to take you there. The cable way return ticket price
is currently R225 – R250 per adult (see http://www.tablemountain.net/content/page/rates).
Cape
Town is well known for her numerous excellent restaurants and the concierge at
your hotel will be able to make recommendations and arrange for dinner
transfers.

Day 9: Cape Peninsula
Today you explore one of the most beautiful places in
the world on a tour of the Cape Peninsula! This tour will take you along the
very scenic peninsula to visit attractions such as the Cape of Good Hope
National Park which is located on the southern tip of the peninsula, Boulders
Beach Penguin Colony and the village of Hout Bay. You will stop somewhere along
the way for lunch (own expense).
After a day of exploring one of the places in the
world that has captured the imagination of people from all around the world,
your guide will take you hotel. You have the evening at leisure to explore the
city or visit the Waterfront again.

Day 10: Cape Wine Region

Today you go on a tour of the
Wine Region. This tour takes you through the historic towns of Stellenbosch and
Francshhoek with their beautiful surrounding wine farms and includes wine
tasting at 2 different wine farms.

Day 11: Cape Town
Today
you have a full day for optional activities. We generally do not like to leave
days open like this, but experience over the years has taught us that our
clients love to have some time in Cape Town to explore on their own. You can
discuss options with your guide or with the concierge at your hotel but you are
also welcome to make prior arrangements with us if you have something specific
in mind.

Day 12: Cape Town to
Johannesburg
Depending
on the time of your flight out of Johannesburg, you may have time to explore
some of Cape Town this morning. No activity is however included in the price,
allowing you the freedom to choose what you would like to do.
One
of our representatives will meet you at the hotel 2 ½ hours before your flight
to take you to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
